Terms of Use

Last updated: August 5, 2026

Drifta is made by Logan Moore, a solo developer trading as moorecode. By installing or using Drifta, you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short.

The app

Drifta is provided as is, without warranty. It is a task and reminder app and is not a substitute for medical advice, therapy, medication, an emergency service, or a person who loves you. If you are in a crisis, please call your local emergency number.

Your account

Drifta does not require an account. Your tasks live on your device. If you choose to subscribe to Drifta Pro, that subscription is managed by Apple under their standard EULA. Apple handles the receipt and the renewal.

What you can do

What you can't do

Subscriptions and refunds

Drifta Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Apple bills you and Apple handles cancellations and refunds through your Apple ID settings. If you need help, write to support and I will help walk you through it.

SMS messaging program

Program name: Drifta SMS Reminders. Drifta Pro offers an optional SMS reminder program for overdue tasks with deadlines. The program is operated by Logan Moore (moorecode) using Twilio as the SMS gateway. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. Support: support@drifta.app.

How you opt in. SMS is off by default. To opt in: install the Drifta iOS app, open Settings and go to the SMS Reminders section, complete a one-time phone verification by entering a code texted to your phone, then turn on the “SMS Reminders” toggle. You will see the consent disclosure and must select “Agree & enable” before any SMS is sent. Consent is not a condition of any purchase and is not required to use Drifta.

Consent disclosure, verbatim. “By enabling SMS Reminders, you agree to receive recurring automated reminder text messages from Drifta at the phone number on your account. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.”

Message frequency. Varies based on your task volume and which tasks are flagged for escalation. Typical users receive 0 to 10 messages per day. There is no marketing, no broadcast, no promotional content. Every message is a direct response to a task you set up.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier apply to every Drifta SMS. Drifta does not charge for SMS. Your carrier might.

How to opt out. Reply STOP to any Drifta SMS at any time. This immediately revokes consent and stops all future messages. You can also toggle “SMS Reminders” off in the app under Settings. Other opt-out keywords accepted by Twilio also work: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE. See SMS reminders for the complete program description.

How to get help. Reply HELP to any Drifta SMS to receive a one-message reply with support contact information. You can also email support@drifta.app at any time.

Carriers. Drifta SMS is supported on AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, and most US MVNOs. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

The coach

The AI coach uses Anthropic's Claude. It can be wrong. It is meant to break tasks into smaller steps and unstick you, not to give medical, legal, or financial advice. Treat it like a helpful but fallible friend.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, total liability for any claim related to Drifta is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the prior 12 months. If you paid nothing, that is the cap. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under your local consumer law.

Changes

If these terms change, this page will update and the date at the top will move. Continued use of Drifta means you accept the new terms.

Contact

Questions about these terms or anything else, write to support@drifta.app. The reply is from Logan.
